CARA aims to ensure that their ratings framework reflects the views of parents regarding the presence of profane language, sex, nudity, violence, drug use, smoking, and other subjects that may be a source of concern for parents. Please note that this research makes no assumptions about the rating system as it currently exists; rather, it seeks to understand parents’ perceptions from an objective standpoint.
