Cities are advancing green job creation and equitable workforce development across sectors in partnership with youth, unions and businesses to build inclusive, sustainable economies. This research identifies the green jobs already present across cities and sectors, applying a consistent methodology to measure and map their distribution. Cities can use these insights to strengthen the case for bold climate action by demonstrating the significant potential for further green job growth.
