The West Indian island of Dominica has faced severe flooding in recent years due to extreme weather conditions. Two years after the already devastating tropical storm Erika (2015), hurricane Maria (2017) wiped out 226% of the country’s GDP, killed 70 people, and destroyed or severely damaged 90% of the houses. Since 2017, flooding events have become more frequent, unpredictable, and impactful. The increasingly more impactful flooding events highlight the vulnerabilities of Dominica’s infrastr
