The hydrometeorological institute of Bosnia Herzegovina warned on the 3rd of October for heavy rain fall in the whole central and southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Heavy torrential hit the central and southern Bosnia as of the 3rd of October, with, in a timespan of less than 24 hours, locally >200 mm of rain. The short time span of the rain in the mountainous area led to direct run-off and rapid flow increase of local streams, leading early on the 4th of October to flooding, mud/debris fl
