Time-use surveys (TUS) are specialized statistical inquiries that measure how people allocate their time across different activities over a given period, typically 24 hours. By capturing both economic activities and unpaid care and domestic work (UCDW), as well as leisure, self-care, and other activities, TUS provides a comprehensive picture of daily life. This is crucial for revealing patterns that traditional economic surveys may overlook: the invisible labor of cooking, cleaning, and careg
