Overall, 2025 was a great year for Singapore'seconomy. According to the Ministry of Trade andIndustry (MTI), Singapore's GDP expanded by5.0% year-on-year (y-o-y), surpassing earlierforecasts that had factored in a more severeimpact from U.S. sectoral tariffs. Singaporenarrowly skirted the fallout, benefiting from arelatively modest 10% tariff exposure, andemerged largely unscathed, with several brightspots evident. The unemployment rate remainedat a healthy 2.0% and all-item inflation
