This project investigates the socioeconomic impact of when a large employer invests in a local community by relocating or opening a new establishment. Socioeconomic impacts studied range from changes to wages and healthcare coverage to crime rates. Due to the datasets used and empirical approach chosen in this research, there was not an opportunity to explore the positive impacts found in this report as it pertains to specific communities.
