This working paper examines how K–12 schools can build and sustain effective multidisciplinary behavioral threat assessment and management teams. It draws on national survey data, interviews, and existing threat assessment frameworks to identify practices that improve team composition, training, coordination, and communication, offering strategies to enhance the implementation of school violence prevention efforts.
