Countries are charting a new path forward through transformative REDD+ initiatives that promote genderresponsive approaches1 to project design, implementation and decision-making processes and tackle larger systematic gender inequalities within complex sectors. With support from a range of entities, such as the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and UN-REDD Programme and its partner organizations [e.g. United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Food
