This workshop will explore how to strengthen accountability and follow-up for the implementation of the UNCCD GAP, building on the findings of its first progress evaluation. Convened by Mongolia and UNCCD Parties, the workshop will bring together diverse stakeholders to identify persistent challenges and co-create the core elements of a structured GAP follow-up mechanism, including monitoring, reporting, institutional responsibilities and feedback processes.
