Renewables retained thelr cost advantage over fos sll fuels. Despile the platasu, renewables remainedthe most cost-competifive souce of new electridity in most mariets in 202S. Their advantage over fosslfuek also continued to widen. Since 20I0, the LCOE of solar PV has fallen by 89%, CSP by 72% onshorewind by 71%, offshore wind by 63% and bioenergy by 3%. In contrast, the LCOEs of hydropower andgeothermal increased by 4t% and S3%, respectively.
