Using data we have collected over more than a decade, we are introducing our PitchBook Europe VC dealmaking funnel to evaluate what a typical funding runway looks like for a startup. We assess what progression looks like for a VC-backed company raising multiple rounds of financing. Our analysis provides entrepreneurs, operators, and investors with clarity on characteristics of VC rounds, how much capital is raised before an exit, and the time periods involved.
