M&A activity in the Healthtech sector rose for the third consecutive half-year in 1H25, reaching a record 242 transactions. Momentum in the market has been propelled by macroeconomic tailwinds such as falling inflation encouraging credit markets to open, as well as by rapid developments in AI and cloud-driven technology driving strategic acquisitions. However, the spike in transaction numbers has been accompanied by a steep drop in valuation multiples (e.g. EV/R -15%). This reflects the f
